The work, strength, ingenuity and dedication of Alessandro.
The creativity, ideas, cheerfulness and pleasure in hosting of Anna.
The “caring for”, the doing.
The desire to be together, to share time and spaces.
A welcome from Emma, our dog, the curiosity of Kiki and Maya, our cats.

Here our love of the countryside fuses with the need for slower rhythms, rediscovering moments of gathering together, finding pleasure in the little things and reconciling with nature.
We moved from Lodi to the Marche region. We live in the hills, halfway between the sea and the mountains, in a house we have decided to call 'La carota selvatica' (The wild carrot).
My name is Anna and a few years ago I decided to follow my desire for change.
I am Alessandro and I chose to follow Anna.

The wild carrot is a wild herb belonging to the Apiaceae family and can be identified by its white flowers in a characteristic inflorescence in the shape of an umbrella. It remains delicate and elegant even when it’s wilting and the flowers darken. The wild carrot grows in uncultivated soil, along the roads and fields. Often it can be found along the dirt road that leads to our home or while walking through the surrounding countryside. This simplicity is a profound representation of us and its origins recall our roots: the countryside.
The hills are our ideal habitat and we think we have chosen the most beautiful ones.
We were looking for the vitality of the sea and the tranquility of the mountains and here, we found both.
We wanted to stroll through characteristic hamlets and we discovered many.
We were looking for authenticity and were welcomed by people who were simple and genuine.
Here, we feel at home.
